Hiiii
So I totally forgot I wanted to make this post but I was looking through my drafts and there it was!
So do you remember my 10 minutes gyaru makeup tutorial??
I wanted to give you 3 ways to upgrade your oldshool makeup! Doesn't have to be this specific tutorial it works with any basic oldschool look^^ The point is, Keep it simple but give it a fun twist!
!So here are 3 ways to be a fashionable 99' gal
Glitter
You can use any type of body of face glitter and just put some on your cheekbones or under your eyes~ I used a glitter roll which is more comfortable cause the glitters stick to your face better
Cause of the dark foundation sometimes sticky types of glitter creams might make a "hole" in your foundation so I recommend this glitter roll^^
It's super easy, takes 2 seconds and looks super cute! I like using silver glitters but any color is
Bijou
Bijou, Or gems, Are probably the most popular of the 3 that I give you~ I'm not talking about face stickers, That we all know from manba makeup, Though they are another fun way to upgrade your makeup. In 1999, Before there was manba makeup, face stickers weren't so popular though. What you did see on many girls in the street is bijou under one or both their eyes, In many shapes, sizes and colors.
Like I said in my first makeup tutorial, You can definitely use deco stickers or nail deco for it. Sometimes super small bijou can really upgrade your makeup and give you a cool look^^
For example here, Emi used tiny heart shaped nail deco and it looks adorable!
I prefer to put bijou under one eye, I feel it looks cooler, But I think bijou under both eyes is very cute too!
You can place them on your cheekbone or under your lash line, And you an use as many as you want but don't use it as face stickers all over your cheekbone, I would recommend using 2~3 ^^
Posca
If it isn't our favorite makeup product, Posca markers!XD
Any color and any size can be used, And just be creative!
Flowers, hearts, stars, butterflies, you gyarusa name...........XD anything!
Again like with the bijou, I used the first idea (glitters) as the first layer but of course you don't have to do it.
I feel like this might be the way that takes more effort BUT we're still talking about a matter of minutes~
One more thing I wanna add about this idea is that I feel like it's not very "everyday" and it might be cooler to use in like events, photo shoots or parties^^
So that's it for today's post!
Did you like those idea Which one was your favorite
Can't wait to see you guys try it!
Love,
