こんちゃ~!
Just before I go out I wanted to make an inspo post with some of my favorite looks from the December 2007 issue!
I did an inspo post of the February issue of the same year and I was talking a little about the changes in fashion and how the LA style that was popular before slowly changed into a more otona and sweet style and also a little bit of rokku!
In this issue you can really see that the trends have changed! You start to see some Amekaji which was really at it's beginning~ Before that, Cocolulu and other brands that we now know as Amekaji brands were doing more natural, retro and setf style. Surf style might be also a part of amekaji now, But back then it was the only style those brands did, And then started to get more American pop style like 50s retro other then groovy and 70s retro, More slogan tshirts and a lot more vivid colors
You can say, In Andy's words, That it became more Omocha:D
Here are a few outfits I really liked!
THOSE
BOOTS
AGAIN
I really like the boots and hat, I feel like this outfit could easily look boring to me if it was like.. Pink hat and sneakers. But the boots with just a small part of the pink socks showing and the black hat really balance the whole look and make it so much cooler and gal
Marimo!!
I just love those pants so much!
This Rokkuppoi amekaji style started to be more and more popular cause of the popularity of Gilfy, Rodeo Crowns, and of course Tsu chan
Another one in the same spirit but this time no amekaji elements just rokku
Long white boots seem to be as popular as long black boots!
I've seen a lot of gals having this long coat with colorful inner fur
With her sexy celebu style
White mokomoko x Red plaid
And fur hats!
NoriTae in a twin look, I really like both outfits! As you an see the boots are usually kinda pointy on this era rather then round tow
I feel like she was everywhereXD
One last outfit from this issue~ Look at the adorable super casual outfit this girl is wearing! As I mentioned before white knits and white in general was very very popular this winter. You can see outfits that are 99% white, And outfits like that, which is more like 50% white
Usually combined with black or dark colors that gives a cool contrast, Since I feel at that era gals usually tried to look as otona and sexy and cool as they could, That is why you rarely see a super light outfit like white x ream\pink\pastel
You rarely even see pastels other then pink, It's more in the vivid colors.
So this outfit I really like and I also wanna point out the silhouette that is very balanced with the hat and the boots, And I think the choice of leggings over tights gave it an extra coolness!
That's it for today's post!
I'll be sharing more inspo from my Popteens of the same era talking about trends and stuff in my next posts^^
Do you like those kind of posts Are they even helpful:O
Let me know^^
Have a great day everyone!
Love,

Btw I love the white in those outfits, plus I can clearly remember that in 2007 was very popular to wear leggings under skirts, a lot of alternative/punk girls in my school worn them! Maybe Avril Lavigne started it but I'm not sure~ it was really a thing btw, I'm happy to see it again, it's like turning younger again xD I love it!
